As Polaroid film cassettes each have a battery, there is half of a
battery charge left, when all photos have been taken. So they invented
a gadget to use them, a Polaroid Radio. It's a simple AM/FM radio. This
is what it looks like:
Front.
Rear.
You can put a Polaroid photo to decorate or a nice dark slide.
Battery compartment.
The radio is designed around the cassette.
It fits just into the radio.
There
was even an accessory for the accessory: a battery holder, size of a
cassette, if you are short of empty Polaroid cassettes. It takes 4 AA
batteries.
Fits as well.
Antenna extended. Mine has lost its tip, so I put a screw.
