instantphoto.eu COYOTE INSTAX SQUARE BACK for Mamiya RB67
The COYOTE
INSTAX SQUARE BACK for Mamiya RB67 is a custom made back for Instax SQ
film, but it can also feed Instax Mini film. It's a full featured back
with a dark slide, automatic ejection cycle and film counter. So you
can finally have all the advantages of the Mamiya RB67 system, all of
the reknown lenses included, on instant film. Fuji makes wonderful
instant film, but only crappy cameras.
If you take off the
revolving roll film back of the RB67, the back fits directly to the
RB67 body. As the back opening of the Mamiya is 7x7, there is a full
format Instax Square picture.

Some
pictures taken, all scanned with 400 dpi, no post-treatment. Some also
scanned with 800 dpi, but with 12 lp/mm resolution for Instax film
scanning at higher resolution won't give better results. 2 scans with
some post-treatment (contrast and
sharpness), just to show. Aperture and time noted on the border of the
photo. The pictures are bigger on the screen
than the real photos (6.3x6.3mm), the real photos in your hand look much sharper:
So first one in about real size, it's the third but last of the series.

The COYOTE
INSTAX SQUARE BACK for Mamiya RB67 is well made. It fits perfectly to
the camera, even around the finders. It is easy to use. Just one push
on the button and the photo is ejected. It has all features one needs,
even a dark slide. With the Mamiya RB67 system you have an excellent
lens system, a real reflex viewer and a professional camera system. I
like the back a lot. There will be more photos later.
The back is made by Coyote Camera Works, Mexico City. They are on Facebook and Instagram. All links open in a new window. There is a video on Youtube with an e-mail address below the video. If you want one, send them an e-mail.
